Welcome! I'm based in Baltimore, MD and specialize in a documentary/photojournalistic approach. My preference is to catch sweet, loving, intimate family moments. I'm most at home in the middle of excitement, but am also happy to direct family groups. I have an extensive background in fine art, and learned photography in the darkroom.

I live in Hampden with my husband and our two kids: curious, funny kid Everett (who has accompanied me to client meetings in the past, and would be very happy to continue this tradition), and baby Theodora (we call her Ted. Ted seems to fit).

HERE ARE 10 FUN FACTS ABOUT ME

1.) I am a huge fan of British comedy, and will watch whatever I can of British quiz shows on YouTube

2.) When I was 16, I saw Sean Connery at an art museum. He was so much larger than he looked on TV, and my friends and I were so excited about the sighting we paid absolutely no attention to the museum. 

3.) We had karaoke at our wedding. I'm a terrible singer (and was too busy at the actual wedding to do karaoke) but my go-to is Coolio's Gangsta's Paradise. 

4.) My favorite seltzer flavor is apricot, but I'll drink any seltzer that isn't coconut flavored. 

5.) I watch a surprising amount of trash TV. I say it's for "research." I am happy to discuss trash TV with you. I have read threads on reddit about trash TV. 

6.) I've never seen The Godfather movies. I tried. I fell asleep every time. One of these days, I swear it will happen... but I have two small children, so probably 7-10 years from now.  

7.) Crab mustard? Yes. Berger cookies? Definitely. Natty Boh? Absolutely. 

8.) This is very random, but I was an audience member on TRL live while I lived in New York. Carson Daly wasn't there anymore but Vanessa Minnillo was very nice. I was also in a large group Real World audition. Unsurprisingly, I was not invited for further auditions and I did not attend any further TRLs.   

9.) I have done stand up comedy twice. I killed. I never did it again*. 

*Note: I didn't kill. I did fine. People laughed. Also, I am using weirdly violent stand up comedy terminology and apologize for that. 

10.) Some jobs I have had in my life: Kosher fast food restaurant, Knife sales, Interpreting during a birth of twins, Assisting directors of the real estate department for all of Johns Hopkins University, Teaching the director of the MFA department at the University of Pennsylvania how to organize images into folders on a computer, Working the door for noise music shows.
